13179281_10153388570436899_4691340458789293307_nAfter struggling through adversity all day with gear and steering issues, Ryan Ellis was able to finish the race in 31st position. The entire 25 team came together, showing great teamwork, to get Ellis' car to the end of the 200 lap race. The Monster Mile proved to be quite the menace for many drivers throughout the race weekend, forcing a few drivers to backup cars after the two practice sessions on Friday. After an off weekend this weekend, the NASCAR Xfinity Series returns for the Hisense 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 28th.

Chris Cockrum in the #25 Advanced Communications Group, Carport Empire, Lilly Trucking Chevy Camaro had a hard crash early in the race when the #0 spun him into the inside wall along the beginning of the backstretch. Chris ended up finishing P37. Thanks to safer barriers and the numerous advancements in safety by NASCAR, Chris Cockrum was able to walk away unharmed. Travis Kvapil in the #15 was able to bring home his Ford in P25.   After an off week this weekend, we'll be making our way up to Dover, Delaware for a 200 lap race around Dover International Speedway.
