ALL STAR WEEKEND AT CHARLOTTE MOTOR SPEEDWAY

Rick Ware Racing had 3 entries for the first time this season in the ALL STAR OPEN this past weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway.  RWR unveiled the ENLISTED NINE FIGHT COMPANY #53 Chevrolet which was driven by RWR regular BJ McLeod.  "The response to this car and this paint scheme was incredible", said RWR owner Rick Ware.  "Our social media has been blowing up since we released pictures of that car.  The people at Enlisted Nine Fight Company said their response to the car was incredible and exceeded their expectations."

The Enlisted Nine Fight Company will also be the Primary Marketing Partner this weekend on the RWR #53 for the Coca-Cola 600.  JACOB COMPANIES will return as the Primary Marketing Partner on the RWR #51.  The RWR #52 is still searching for a Primary Marketing Partner at this time.  Be sure to tune in this Sunday afternoon to watch all 3 RWR teams take on the 600 miles in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.  The race will be broadcast at 6:00 PM on Fox and the Fox Sports App.

A BIG WEEKEND AT TALLADEGA

This past weekend in Talladega Superspeedway was a huge success for all the RWR teams.  On the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series side, Cody Ware brought home the Jacob Companies #51 Ford Mustang in 28th place and without a single scratch.  Cody had a great afternoon and did a great job keeping up with the draft most of the afternoon.  Unfortunately, trying to stretch out the fuel mileage at the end of the first stage, the #51 ran out of fuel and had to coast back around the high banks of Talladega and to the pits.  Cody made it back to pit road, but it cost the team a lot of time and a couple of laps. Cody, and the #51 team bounced back and rallied to finish 28th and finish the race.

The #52 Huski Chocolate Chevrolet of Stanton Barrett had a long day as the car had motor issues and had problems keeping up with the draft.  To make issues worse, there were some problems with team communications which made it tough to let Stanton know when to fall in line to stay in the draft.  The car ended up breaking the right front suspension and fell out of the race to finish in 35th place.  Stanton was still upbeat in the garage following the race and felt like the team had something to build on for the future.

The RWR #17 Xfinity team had a great day on Saturday and pulled out a 10th place finish.  Chris Cockrum did a great job navigating the #17 through several incidents and brought the car home with the teams first top 10 finish of the season in the Xfinity Series. The car, sponsored by Advanced Communications Group, was competitive all afternoon.

The RWR teams are back at the shop in Thomasville, NC getting ready for the upcoming weekend at the Dover International Speedway.  Marketing opportunities are still available on the MENCS #52 an the NXS #17.  Contact Bryan Clodfelter at bryan@wareracing.com for more info.
