A SUCCESSFUL WEEKEND AT TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY

The RWR teams left Texas Motor Speedway in good spirits after good runs Sunday in the O'Reilly Auto Parts 500.  BJ McLeod brought the #51 Jacob Companies Chevrolet home in 31st position and newcomer Bayley Currey did and awesome job piloting the #52 Trick Shot Chevrolet and bringing it home in 35th.

The #52 of Bayley Currey ran strong all day, but some pit stop problems, including a penalty for an uncontrolled tire penalty, kept the #52 team several laps down.  Currey brought the car home without a scratch and was excited for what he, and the team, learned from the mile and a half Texas Motor Speedway  "It was great coming home to my home track and having a car that was really good", said Currey, "It was nice to be here and have my friends and family here and run a good solid race."

"That was one of the most fun cars I have ever driven", said BJ McLeod after getting out of the #51 Sunday afternoon.  "That car was awesome and I really didn't want to get out of it!  The team has continued to learn these new packages and I am still learning the set ups myself, but today was incredible and I think we still learned a lot to carry us forward."

The #51 Jacob Companies team and the #52 RWR team are back in North Carolina preparing the cars for the World's Fastest Half Mile at the Bristol Motor Speedway in this Sunday's Food City 500 at 2:00 ET on FS1

The West Coast Swing Is Over

The Rick Ware Racing teams are back home in North Carolina after a 3 week trip to the West Coast.  The RWR teams wrapped up the West Coast Swing with a 32nd place finish for Cody Ware in the JACOB COMPANIES #51 and a 37th place finish for BJ McLeod in the MTEL-ONE #52.

Both drivers finished the race and took the checkered flag with cars that ended up without any major damage.  The #51 of Ware had a consistent day and continued to learn more about the new racing package.  Cody was pleased with the teams progress and is excited about this weekends upcoming race at Martinsville.  BJ McLeod battled an ill handling car most of the day, but did a great job to take the checkered flag and not damage the car.  The #52 team did have to come in to the garage early in the race, but was able to get back out and finish the race.

The RWR #52 will have a different look and a different driver for this weekends STP 500 at Martinsville Speedway.  Jeb Burton will pilot the #52 with MUZZY BOWFISHING as the Primary Marketing Partner.  The press release for Jeb Burton will be released later.

2 DOWN AND 1 TO GO ON WEST COAST SWING

The Rick Ware Racing team is back in Las Vegas and working hard to prepare the cars for this weekends Auto Club 400 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.  After the race Sunday, which saw the #52 MTEL-ONE Mustang driven by Bayley Currey finish 31st and the #51 JACOB COMPANIES Camaro driven by Cody Ware finish 32nd, the team worked in the garage area at ISM on Monday and then loaded up to head to Las Vegas.  The team will work on the cars, that will be used at Auto Club Speedway, in Las Vegas until Thursday and then will load everything up and head West to California. On the way the RWR haulers, cars, drivers, and team will stop in Costa Mesa, California at the offices of Trickshot, which is a Marketing Partner of RWR.  Trickshot is inviting vendors, customers, and employees for a cookout and meet and greet with the RWR team.

At Phoenix, the team prepared the #52 for the debut in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series  for driver Bayley Currey.  Currey, who is also a mechanic at RWR, did a great job and took the checkered flag without a scratch on the #52.  "Bayley did a great job", said team owner Rick Ware, "He did everything we asked of him and more.  Bayley has a very bright future ahead of him and we hope that we can have him back in the seat very soon!"  Currey's #52 welcomed The Port of Tucson and BAJA as new Marketing Partners to RWR for the Phoenix event.

Cody Ware also took the checkered flag without a scratch on the #51 and was in high spirits following the race.  "We continue to make huge strides every week and I feel this team is just getting better and better" said Cody Ware.  "I am excited to see how we put what we learned at ISM and take that to Auto Club Speedway this coming weekend."

RWR has some very big announcements coming later this week.  Be sure to check the website and media outlets for the releases!  One of the releases involves RWR rear tire changer Brehanna Daniels.  Brehanna had Chris Watt, who was a contestant on The Titan Games, as a guest in the RWR pit area.  Brehanna was also a contestant on the NBC show The Titan Games, and did great!
